Setsugetsuka, the Kappo restaurant specializing in expertly prepared meat dishes, has opened a sister restaurant, Yakiniku Tanaka Ginza, which is quickly garnering praise.

The restaurant has counter seating for 16, as well as 4 private rooms.
The owner and chef of Setsugetsuka, Mr. Tanaka himself, stands behind the counter and prepares the dishes.
The menu has one option only, a ¥35,000 set course meal.
Kobe beef comprises the majority of the beef used and is presented along with top quality ingredients from areas across Japan, coming together in truly peerless Kappo cooking.

I’ve recently had Chef Tanaka’s cold noodles with sudachi citrus. It’s amazing and refreshing. I ate lots of neungmyeon in seoul and always hope to find excellent cold noodles in Japan.

His beef dashi got depth of flavor without pungent beef smell. Tanaka San is very proud of his beef sourcing. Very nice and friendly chef.
